Arjun Hausner

Arjun is a PhD student in the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources (E-IPER), and his research focuses on how individuals and institutions make investment decisions in climate solutions to achieve resilient, scalable impact. His work spans three key areas: automating techno-economic analysis to better compare carbon projects and their associated costs and co-benefits, analyzing the market dynamics of emerging climate commodities, and examining the cognitive and behavioral drivers of climate-related decisions within high-emission firms. Through this research, Arjun seeks to identify leverage points that can accelerate the flow of talent and capital into effective climate action. Prior to joining E-IPER, Arjun served as Impact Strategy Lead in the Office of the CEO at Impossible Foods and worked as a Senior Associate at Renewable Resources Group. He holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences and Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, both from Cornell University.
