Director of Product Management, Meta
Claire is the Director of Product Management at Meta. Previously she was the Head of Research for the News Feed product at Facebook, where she led and supported a team of researchers who strove to improve key user experiences of creating, viewing, and engaging with content on News Feed. She received her BA and MSc degrees from Stanford University where she studied applied anthropology, with an emphasis on ecotourism and sustainable development. Claire spent several field seasons in the Peruvian Amazon studying tour group composition and its impact on the wildlife viewing experience. In 2013 she transitioned to the education technology space as a user researcher for digital products. Claire spent several years building the UX research team at Udemy, an online teaching and learning platform, prior to joining Facebook.
Outside of work Claire is an avid cook, baker, crafter, and traveler.
