Emily is Field Programs Coordinator, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) in Aspen, CO, where she teaches environmental science to K-4th Grade students. She also works as a researcher with the Ardoin Social Ecology Lab where she studies environmental behavior change as well as research-practice connections in professional development sessions for environmental educators and environmental behavior change. Prior to returning to ACES, Emily was a full-time Social Ecology Lab research associate. She oversaw data collection, provided support and training to field-based teams, and collaborated on analyses related to a number of studies including those on climate-friendly behavior in redwood parks and social-emotional learning in environmental education programs. Emily has a Bachelor’s degree in Geological and Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in Environmental Communication, both from Stanford University.
