Janel Schuh is a Senior Methodologist in Research and Evaluation at CommunicateHealth, Inc. Previously, she was a Senior Researcher at the Fors Marsh Group and a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Ardoin Social Ecology Lab. She has worked for more than a dozen years as a survey research professional in the academic, government, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. Her primary research interest is in exploring how interpersonal communication and media can be used to promote prosocial change. Janel’s PhD is in Communication from the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and her dissertation research focused on the social functions of celebrity gossip among high school girls. She holds an MA in Journalism & Mass Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill and a BA in Mass Communication from James Madison University.
