Kathleen O’Connor, a consulting researcher with the Ardoin Social Ecology Lab, is an evaluation and learning consultant with the TCC Group. Formerly, she was the Director of Research and Evaluation and a postdoctoral scholar with NatureBridge. She received a PhD in the Developmental and Psychological Sciences (DAPS) program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Education where her dissertation explored the development of environmental identities in the context of residential environmental education programs. She also has interests in social-emotional learning in environmental education and has worked on systematic reviews related to youth civic engagement as well as psycho-social processes of climate (in)action. Kathleen holds a BA in Environmental Science from Northwestern University. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an environmental scientist for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Great Lakes National Program Office and for CH2M Hill.
