Research Bulletins

The Environmental Education Research Bulletin was a collaborative project from 2011 to 2017 between Prof. Nicole Ardoin at Stanford University, ChangeScale, NatureBridge, and the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), with additional support from the US EPA. The research bulletins were designed to synthesize and summarize recently reported research from journals focused on issues pertaining to environmental educators. The bulletins include articles related to environmental education evaluation, sense of place, environmental behavior, teaching practices, and professional development, among other topics relevant to environmental education practitioners, funders, and policymakers.
Although we no longer produce the EE Research Bulletin in this format, we still develop research summaries in other formats and through other collaborations. We also offer an online course through StanfordOnline/EdX focused on connecting research and practice; the course uses these bulletins as well as other similar resources in supporting those connections.
